THE PROOF IS IN THE PHANTOM
In addition to the everyday confidence the MyLab®
systems gives to its owners, Biosound wants its customers
to be confident with their choice of capital equipment
investment. That is why Biosound offers “proof positive”
for every MyLab® imaging system purchased. Using a
Gammex precision gray scale small parts Phantom, an independent
vascular laboratory has conducted comparison studies that
show the MyLab®25 imaging system offering superior
resolution when compared with both the GE-LOGIQ-e and
the Terason-T3000 ultrasound systems. Identical studies
were completed for the imaging systems assessed, with
exacting standards performed by Phlebologist Roger Hogue,
M.D. at the Hogue Vein Institute. Unlike
scanning an actual patient, an ultrasound phantom represents
the Gold Standard for evaluating the true resolution capabilities
of an ultrasound imaging system. For further information

"Recently, my academic phlebology
practice underwent a transformation when I acquired the
MyLab25 from Biosound. Despite its compactness and portability,
the MyLab25 delivers radiology level performance with
its high resolution 192 channel transducer and Tissue
Enhancement Imaging (Harmonics), all displayed beautifully
on the 15-inch LCD screen. The clarity of its images in
the B-mode, pulse wave Doppler, and color-flow are first
rate. The zoom feature is perfect for my duplex guided
sclerotherapy. There are well designed presets in the
software that are perfect for phlebology and the keyboard
interface is logical and user-friendly. The excellence
of this machine is mirrored by Mr. Mark Mollenkopf, an
RVT who performed the initial install and training and
provided outstanding customer service. There are other
compact ultrasound units (I own one before the MyLab25,
and it is now in the corner gathering dust) that are more
expensive but do not deliver the same performance as this
machine. I cannot rave enough about this unit. Now my
dilemma is what to do with my other ultrasound machine."

"We opened our first of three
full service esthetic centers following the 2005 ACP.
After carefully reviewing all of the ultrasound systems
in our price range, the MyLab25 from Biosound was without
a doubt, the finest we have used. We even demoed a couple
larger console systems and our physicians were not able
to see the needle or catheter nearly as well. We have
been thoroughly satisfied with our representative Mark
Mollenkopf. His knowledge of ultrasound and vein clinic
