Med Group, LLC (OMG) believes it is important to understand
how information is handled when received through the internet.
In general, visitors remain anonymous while visiting the
OMG web sites. The web server collects domain names, not
email addresses. Biosound Esaote aggregates the non-personal
visit information accumulated to measure the number of
visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed,
etc. OMG uses this information to measure the functionality
of the site and to make improvements to the site.
However, there are times when we may
need information to respond to an inquiry, process an
order or allow the access of specific account information.
If a visitor registers on-line, information may be used
to provide tailored information specific to a visitor’s
request. A technology called a cookie may be used. A cookie
is a tiny element of data that a web site can send to
the browser, which may then be stored on the visitor’s
hard drive, so that the visitor can be recognized upon
return. Such information will never be sold, traded or
otherwise shared with any other entity.
